PAL Ottawa will explore new private development collaborations in 2026 to fulfill its mission of providing affordable housing for local senior artists and arts workers. This marks a full break from the discussions between PAL Ottawa and Ottawa Community Housing Corporation (OCHC) for occupancy in one of the MOSAÏQ II buildings. 

After OCHC's deal collapsing earlier this year, PAL Ottawa is exploring new private development collaborations in 2026 to fulfill its mission of providing affordable housing for local senior artists and arts workers.

Meet JP Longboat, an Ottawa-based multi-disciplinary Artist, Kanienʼkehá꞉ka (Mohawk), Turtle Clan, from Six Nations of the Grand River in Southern Ontario, founder and Artistic Director of Circadia Indigena, and co-founder of the LodgePole Arts Alliance.

Harvey Glatt was on the Advisory Council of PAL Ottawa for many years. He and his wife Louise were big supporters of PAL Ottawa. Losing him after all those years is a blow to PAL Ottawa but nevertheless the legacy of kindness he left us with, was wonderful and worth the telling.
